Bittering Agents |
Bitters are chemicals added to products to make them smell or taste bitter. Bitter agents are often used as aversive agents to prevent the inhalation or ingestion of toxic and harmful substances (such as methanol, denatured alcohol and ethylene glycol). When added to plastic products, it can effectively inhibit accidental eating and biting, and is a very effective food inhibitor for children and animals (rodents and birds).
