1,2,4-Triazole, referred to as triazole, serves as an intermediate for triazole fungicides like triadimefon, propiconazole, benzothiadiazole, hexaconazole, benzo chloride triazole alcohol, uniconazole, penconazole, hexaconazole, cyproconazole, flusilazole, triflumizole, fluconazole, azoxystrobin, metconazole, fludioxonil, flumetover, cyflufenamid, fluopyram, pydiflumetofen, triflumezopyrim, prothioconazole, fluquinconazole, penflufen, penthiopyrad, trifloxystrobin, benzovindiflupyr, fluxapyroxad, fluoxastrobin, isopyrazam, benzobicyclon, indoxacarb, and triazole plant growth regulators like uniconazole and paclobutrazol.

This product is used in the production of pesticides, pharmaceuticals (fluconazole), dyes, and rubber additives, and it is also employed in the production of photoelectric conductors for replication systems.
