GMA is used in powder coatings: One of the main uses of GMA is in the production of matt resins for powder coatings for outdoor use. Because it has an epoxy group, it has excellent powder coating leveling properties, weather resistance, salt spray resistance, high temperature resistance, and yellowing resistance.
Application of GMA in plastic modification: Due to the presence of a highly active acrylate double bond, GMA can be grafted onto polymers. GMA-grafted POE is mainly used as a polyester compatibilizer on the market. These functionalized polymers can be used as toughening agents to toughen engineering plastics or as compatibilizers to improve the compatibility of blend systems.
GMA is used in UV glue: the double bond is used in UV free radical monomers, and free radical cationic curing. Because of the epoxy group, the curing speed is slow, but the bonding effect is better.
Application of GMA in PCB ink: GMA can be used to produce PCB ink and acrylic system green oil. Green oil is circuit board ink.
