Application in cosmetics field:

Glutathione is the good characteristics of Anti-oxidant & Skin Whitening. Glutathione eliminates free radicals through enzymatic reaction, therefore, realizing the function of anti-oxidant.  Glutathione whitens the skin by inhibiting enzyme activity and the production of eumelanin, and also increase pheomelanin.

1. Skin Lightening: Exposure to UV rays increases the number of melanocytes, which leads to excessive pigmentation darkening the skin. Glutathione powder reduces melanin production by limiting the activity of tyrosinase and altering the synthesis of Eumelanin.
2. Anti-ageing: UV rays can penetrate collagen and damage the dermis, causing premature ageing of the skin. Glutathione powder is a powerful antioxidant that protects collagen fibres from damage by free radicals and thus protects the elasticity of the skin.

Application in pharmaceutical field:
It protects the -SH group in the enzyme molecule, exerts enzyme activity, restores the active function of the -SH group in the cleavage enzyme molecule, restores enzyme activity and inhibits the invasion of ethanol , protects the liver and reduces fatty liver. It also binds to toxic compounds, heavy metal ions or carcinogens that enter the body to facilitate their excretion and neutralise detoxification.
