Due to its low solubility in water, the bioavailability of Magnesium Octanoate is not high compared to some common magnesium supplements (such as magnesium sulfate, magnesium oxide, etc.). However, it can still be used as a supplementary form of magnesium source in some special nutritional formulas or animal feeds.

1: In the food industry, Magnesium Octanoate is used as a food additive in oils, baked goods, etc. Adding an appropriate amount of Magnesium Octanoate to oils can inhibit the oxidation of oils, improve the stability of oils, and extend the shelf life. In baked goods, it can interact with oil components to improve the texture and preservation of food.

2: In the oil industry, Magnesium Octanoate plays a stabilizing role in oil systems. Magnesium Octanoate can interact with fatty acids and other components in oils to play an antioxidant and stabilizer role, which can reduce the generation of free radicals during oil oxidation, thereby helping to prevent oil rancidity and extend the shelf life of oils.

3: In the animal feed industry, Magnesium Octanoate is used as an additive for animal feed to provide a certain amount of magnesium and protect the fat part of the feed, preventing the feed from deteriorating due to oxidation of fat during storage, thereby improving the nutritional value and stability of the feed.

4: In the chemical industry, Magnesium Octanoate can be used as a special catalyst or additive in organic synthesis reactions and material preparation processes.
