Polyhydroxystearic acid is a high-performance dispersant used in inorganic pigments and titanium dioxide for cosmetic products, significantly increasing the SPF value of pigment-containing sunscreens. Even in small amounts, it can significantly reduce the viscosity of the dispersion system, thereby increasing the concentration of pigments. It enhances dispersion stability, exhibiting excellent anti-pigment aggregation effects. It is gentle on the skin and does not cause damage to hair. Polyhydroxystearic acid adhere to the surface of powder particles, preventing their agglomeration through steric structures and electrostatic repulsion, resulting in a more uniform and finer particle size. Adding polyhydroxystearic acid can significantly increase the concentration of hydrophilic titanium dioxide.
