Tetrasodium Iminidisuccinate (IDS·Na4) is an eco-friendly chelating agent used to replace traditional chelating agents EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid), DTPA, and NTA. It is widely used in many fields, mainly including agriculture, water treatment, papermaking, and printing and dyeing industries.

(I) It is easily biodegradable and non-toxic to the ecosystem.

(II) It has excellent compatibility, strong alkali resistance, high pH resistance, and high temperature resistance.

(III) It has excellent stability to hydrogen peroxide H2O2. It is used as a stabilizer for hydrogen peroxide oxygen bleaching.

亚氨基二琥珀酸四钠盐（IDS·Na4）作为络合剂，具有很强的螯合高价金属离子的能力，可有效降低金属离子的催化活性。运用在碱土金属及重金属离子清洗剂，广泛应用于民用洗涤剂、工业清洗剂、摄影行业清洗剂、印染助剂、染整工艺、纺织工业、造纸工业、感光材料、陶瓷工业、电镀工业、建筑行业及土壤重金属污染物的萃取。

As a chelating agent, Tetrasodium Iminidisuccinate (IDS·Na4) has a strong ability to chelate high-valent metal ions and can effectively reduce the catalytic activity of metal ions. It is used in alkaline earth metal and heavy metal ion cleaning agents, and is widely used in civilian detergents, industrial cleaning agents, photography industry cleaning agents, printing and dyeing auxiliaries, dyeing and finishing processes, textile industry, papermaking industry, photosensitive materials, ceramic industry, electroplating industry, construction industry and extraction of heavy metal pollutants in soil.

(I) Application in water treatment: In water treatment, Tetrasodium Iminidisuccinate (IDS·Na4) has good biodegradability and is friendly to the ecological environment. It can be used as a water treatment agent, scale inhibitor and water softener to effectively reduce the formation of scale and improve water utilization efficiency. Tetrasodium Iminidisuccinate (IDS·Na4) is particularly good at integrating transition metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, and zinc. Its integration ability for heavy metal ions such as copper and iron is comparable to or even better than that of traditional integrators such as EDTA, which can significantly improve water quality. (II) Application in papermaking and printing and dyeing industry: In papermaking and printing and dyeing industry, Tetrasodium Iminidisuccinate (IDS·Na4) is used as a bleaching agent, which can provide higher whiteness and stability than traditional oxidants. When mixed with sodium silicate, it can reduce the formation of silica scale and improve the quality of paper. The chelating agent not only protects the pulp fiber, but also increases the dispersibility of the bleaching liquid, thereby improving the bleaching efficiency and saving costs. Tetrasodium Iminidisuccinate (IDS·Na4) as a cylinder sticking agent can effectively improve the adhesion of wet paper web on the surface of Yankee dryer, solve the problems of paper tearing, paper plugging, uneven wrinkling, and reduce the yellow edge phenomenon on the surface of the dryer.
