It is a high-efficiency UV filter with strong light absorption, good photostability, good solubility in many cosmetic oils and ethanol, and low toxicity. In cosmetics and skin care products, it mainly acts as a chemical sunscreen and can be used in various sunscreen products.

1: HEB is a new type of UV absorber with high absorption rate. It is an alcohol-soluble and oil-soluble medium-wave UV absorber with an absorption wavelength of 280nm-320nm.

2: HEB has good compatibility with oil and fat ingredients and has a good sunscreen effect. Usually, only a very small dose is needed in sunscreen care products to achieve a higher SPF value. It is often added to sunscreen oil to enhance the sunscreen effect. It can be used in all cosmetic formulas containing lipid ingredients. It can be used alone or in combination with homosalate, benzophenone-3, avobenzone, octocrylene, and octyl methoxycinnamate.
