Solubility: Insoluble in cold water and low-polarity alkanes such as n-hexane; soluble in hot anhydrous ethanol, xylene, mineral oil, castor oil, and other oleaginous solvents; undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with strong acids.

Acidity/Alkalinity: pH of a 1% dispersion in hot ethanol is 6.0–7.5 (near-neutral to slightly acidic).

Thermal Stability: Stable when sealed at room temperature; melting point 75°C–95°C; gradual thermal decomposition occurs only above 220°C, posing no risk of decomposition at standard processing temperatures (≤180°C) for rubber, plastics, or cosmetics.

Compatibility: Excellent compatibility with various vegetable oils, mineral oils, waxes, non-ionic surfactants, and fragrances; avoid long-term combination with strong acids or strong oxidizing agents, as this leads to decomposition, discoloration, and loss of efficacy.
